SiE is one of the earliest, largest, and most experienced IT consulting service companies in China, earning the reputation of "Huangpu Military Academy" as a domestic enterprise information ERP consulting consultant; Guoguang Electric Appliances is an excellent private enterprise with a history of 66 years, specializing in the electroacoustic industry. Based on the same sentiment and strong sense of identification, Guoguang has chosen to work together with SiE to create a new ERP project and achieve a new upgrade of enterprise informatization. On the afternoon of June 9th, the kickoff meeting for the "Guoguang Electric New ERP System Project" was held at Guoguang Group. Fang Xiaoyan, Vice President of Guoguang Group, Liu Guohua, Vice President of SiE Company, relevant project leaders and members of Guoguang and SiE attended the project kickoff meeting.




At the beginning of the meeting, Zhu Jianming, Manager of Guoguang Information Center, introduced the background of the "Guoguang Electric New ERP System Project" to the attendees. Manager Zhu introduced the current situation and existing bottlenecks of the Tianxin ERP system that is currently in use. Tianxin ERP can no longer meet the growing needs of the group. He elaborated on the process from the selection of the new ERP system to the final decision to adopt Oracle ERP system, and proposed that the goal of this update of the ERP system is to achieve financial and business integration, integration with major application systems, and solidification of business processes. Finally, Manager Zhu introduced the organization and management principles of the new ERP system project team, as well as the organizational structure of the project team.




Dai Jixiang, the project manager of SiE Company, introduced the implementation plan and methodology of the project to the attendees. The ERP system project was implemented in a 6+2 approach (i.e. 6 months of implementation+2 months of online operation); And adopt the methodology of "prototype method" for execution.






Next, Liu Guohua, Vice President of SiE Company, proposed four valuable suggestions to the project team based on his rich experience: 1. The project team should have strict discipline and achieve project goals with quality and quantity according to the plan; 2. Business department heads and project team members should have a global perspective and actively participate in the project; 3. Group executives and department heads should be involved in the implementation of projects from start to finish; 4. All members of the project team should be familiar with the business, be able to endure hardships, and participate in the project full-time. At the same time, two important viewpoints were also shared with the attendees: 1. Ideological informatization is more important than business informatization. Informationization is not just a matter of the IT department, but also the performance of the business department. The business department should serve as the leading and responsible department for informatization projects. 2. Business requirements should not be personalized, and it is necessary to standardize business processes and system functions in order to simplify work as much as possible.




Finally, Fang Xiaoyan, Vice President of Guoguang, conveyed two requirements of President He Weicheng for the project: 1. The ERP system is a "top tier project", so He always participates frequently and also requires department heads to actively participate in the ERP project; 2. The new ERP system must be launched in January 2018. Mr. Fang also issued clear work guidelines, requiring the project team and SiE Company to have in-depth communication before project development, so that SiE Company can have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Guoguang, clarify Guoguang's requirements for the new ERP system, and achieve accurate development without major rework midway. At the meeting, Mr. Fang announced the official establishment of the project and wished it a complete success!
